Wow, it has been a long time since I posted but like Mariana I think I’ll blame it on being newlywed. Dave and I are quickly approaching 4 years of marriage but I still feel like I’m newly married. I guess it is in your state of mind and heart. (not to mention being absolutely HEAD OVER HEELS for David Michael Powers) My mom said she was a newly wed for 7 years.
Summer is here! Florida is in 5 days and I cannot wait. Hunter can’t wait either. EVERY DAY he awakes from his nap and says, “Time for the airplane? Time for the ocean?” Everyday I have to say, “NO” and proceed to count how many more days are left until he gets to go high in the sky and then to the sea to swim with Nemo. We will have 5 days of vacation and then we get to see some dear friends and mentors, Dale and Liz Schlafer. ( I’m very excited to learn from Liz about Intercession)
Then it’s off to minister in Orlando for the Alliance church Youth Conference. http://life2007.org/ There will be about 10,000 students there from all over the place. I pray that God will give us favor with them and that we would just know how to LOVE them and help them in their relationship with the Lord. I want divine connections, I want prophetic words for them, I want to help ignite passion in them, to teach them how to worship and I want them to teach me a lesson in passion and loving God as well. Recently I read in Jeremiah that God has intents of HIS heart. I want the intent of God’s heart for this conference and for my life as well.
